职教高考，也叫职业教育高考，是相对于普通高考（普通高等学校招生全国统一考试），指职业教育的专门性高考，教育部逐步建立职教高考制度，使之成为高职考试招生主渠道。职业教育与普通教育是两种不同教育类型，具有同等重要地位！

一、报考身份群体不同。职教高考的考生主要是以职业高中、中专技校等中等职业技术型学校的三年级学生或者往届毕业生为主。普通高考的考生主要是普通高中的高三学生为主。

1、 The groups of applicants are different. The candidates for the vocational education college entrance examination are mainly third year students or graduates from secondary vocational and technical schools such as vocational high schools and vocational schools. The candidates for the ordinary college entrance examination are mainly high school seniors.

二、报考条件不同。职教高考报考需要考取教育部考试中心颁发的计算机证或英语证书，或者是省教育考试院颁发的专业技能课程考试合格证书三证任意一个就可以了。而普通高考则不需要任何证书。

2、 The application requirements are different. To apply for the vocational education college entrance examination, one needs to obtain a computer certificate or an English certificate issued by the Examination Center of the Ministry of Education, or any of the three certificates issued by the Provincial Education Examination Institute for passing the professional skills course examination. The ordinary college entrance examination does not require any certificates.

三、考试科目不同。职教高考考试科目：语文、数学、英语、专业知识、专业技能。普通高考考试科目：是语文、数学、英语、物理、化学、生物、政治、地理、历史。

四、考试难度不同。职教高考主要是考基础和基本应用，就是最简单的语数英；普通高考则是考基础、基本应用和复合应用，难度较高。

The vocational education college entrance examination mainly tests the foundation and basic application, which is the simplest language, mathematics, and English; The ordinary college entrance examination tests the basics, basic applications, and composite applications, which are relatively difficult.

五、录取院校不同。职教高考：全省/市范围内的全日制应用型本科院校和高职院校。普通高考：全国范围内的全日制高校。

5、 The admission institutions are different. Vocational Education College Entrance Examination: Full time applied undergraduate colleges and vocational colleges within the province/city. Ordinary college entrance examination: a full-time university nationwide.

六、报考时间和考试时间不同。职教高考每年3月进行专业技能考试，5月进行专业知识考试。普通高考则是6月考试。

七、培养预期。职教高考：技术技能型人才。普通高考：少部分学术型人才+应用型人才。
